Great Plains Outfitters is a full-time outfitting company. We pride ourselves on providing quality hunts for quality people. Our dedicated staff has many years experience in the outdoors. We offer public and private ground hunts. Our public ground hunts take place on the millions of acres of National Forest and BLM that Wyoming has to offer. Our private ground hunts occur on some of the best Whitetail and Mule Deer habitat in the West. Your hunt will include accommodations and transportation during your hunt, with meals, trophy and meat care also included. Your hunt price is for one guide for two hunters, one on one hunts can be arranged in advance.
Mountain Lion Hunting
When it comes to lions we are the pace setters. With over 30yrs experience hunting lions Dirk takes it to the next level. Not only will you have a hunt of a lifetime, you will have a memory you will never replace. We have seasoned guides and hounds that live for the chase! We focus on mature Toms!
Mule Deer Hunting
Whether Archery or Rifle we give 110% to find the class of buck you are dreaming of. Whether on private or public our seasoned guides know the ground and the deer. Our mule deer hunts are spot and stalk and we spend countless hours scouting for your trophy before you get here.
Trophy Bull Elk
Wyoming is a big bull destination. Rifle or our personal favorite Archery hunts are action packed adventure! Call or email us for unit info and Dirk will personally help you decide which unit fits the amount of preference points that you have and time frame is best for you. We live in trophy units with the bulls.
Antelope Hunting
Wyoming is a truly outstanding Antelope destination. With millions of acres of BLM and private land that we hunt you will be pleased! This is a great hunt for the beginner hunter with alot of action to peak a young hunters interest. These hunts present alot of opportunity Rifle or Archery!
Whitetail Hunting
Wyomings Whitetail hunts like most states take place during peak rut which gives clients the opportunity to catch a glimpse of that buck of a lifetime. We hunt both private and public on this hunt. Give us a call
Black Bear Hunting
We have action packed Bear hunts. These hunts take place over bait or spot and stalk. May and June are probably the most uncontested prettiest times of the year to be in the mountains. Top it off with a trophy bear!
Sheep Hunting
